Day 60 - Leap Year Moon
Its typical, the night before was the last time you could see the ISS until April, and it was cloudy and tonight, there was literally not a cloud in the sky! So in its absence I took my first photo of the moon! I'm quite pleased with it, considering it was just with my DSLR!
Day 59 - Sleep time
There are some times when I put her in to bed in the afternoon that I am so jealous of her little pink pillow, and her princess dolls!!
Day 57 - Creating
I had the loveliest afternoon with O today, we made jewellery for his school project and it was so much fun - I wish we had more time together like this.

Day 56 - Star Gazing
Tonight was the first time we managed to see a full pass by the International Space Station. It was so amazing to see Oliver's face as we tracked it as it passed in between the Moon and Venus, and then eventually disappeared in to the shadow in Orion, it was quite literally out of this world! I couldn't just do one photo today now could I!!
Just as it came in to view, the ISS, the Moon and a very bright Venus
Passing between the tree's the ISS and to the right Venus & the Moon
Just before it disappeared
Tonights beautiful crescent Moon and Venus. What a brilliant evening! :)
Day 55 - Hello
My friend and I tried all day to get a photo of the littlest in her favourite glasses. She wore them all the way to school, on the walk to school and for most of the day when we were at home, how she can see I don't know!

Day 53 - Taking after Mummy
I was so thrilled I managed to get these photo's! I let her have a little play with one of my old camera's, she was thrilled! It was adorable!
Just like Mummy :)
Day 52 - My favourite
My lovely husband bought me these, some of my favourite flowers, I wanted to get a photo of them before they had to go :) thank you baby x

Day 51 - Deep in thought
I couldn't decide between these two photos today, I like them both! The biggest is starting as he means to go on.. homework for the week already done! And the littlest is enjoying her favourite past time, watching the Gruffalo with her friends wearing her ruby slippers!

Day 50 - Flying!
Today was a great game for the boys, our third win on the trot and that means that we are still undefeated in 2012! Believe me, I would never have thought we would have said that this time last year! They did us proud today, worked hard, passed the ball and showed real determination, it was lovely to see how well they have come on. I'm a very proud Mum, as you can probably tell!

Day 42 - A walk in the woods
It might have been cold, we might have had to wear ten layers each, but the sun was shining and there was no way we were going to spend the first day of the half term watching the TV. So with her best friend, L heads off on her little adventure! A big thanks to Staffordshire Railway Walk for providing the perfect get away :)

Day 40 - Another year
Dear Mum,
Well, another year has been and gone, hard to believe its been sixteen now, one more and you will have been gone for as long as I knew you, hardly seems fair does it!
It's been quite a year, as you probably know! O & L are growing so fast. You would have loved them you know! L is certainly a little character, she makes me laugh every day, they both do. Infact O came out with that 'Allo Vera' saying just the other day which just reminded me of you! There isn't a day that goes by I don't think of you, wishing you were here to chat to, to laugh with & to see the children grow up. I hope we would still have had the friendship we had when I was 17, but more than likely we would have fallen out over something along the way though, you always did have that fiery temper!
Sometimes it feels just like yesterday when we said goodbye, other times its hard to believe everything that I have done since you went. Uni, weddings, jobs, children.. I know I haven't always made the best decisions but I hope you can see how much happier I am now, it would just have been perfect to have you around as well!(especially as we could really do with a babysitter now the kids are a bit older!)
Any way the snow is on its way, as it always does every single year at this time. It's funny isn't it, that week it stopped us from seeing you at your worst, and gave us a week off school to have fun and be the children we were, I'm grateful to it for that! I probably wont be saying that in the morning though when I'm pulling the kids to school on a sledge!
I have to go now any way, I feel a nice glass of red wine calling me from the kitchen! Give Gran and Grandpa a hug from me :)
I miss you, so very much, sleep tight xx
