Day 31 - Good morning Daddy
First thing this morning before J disappeared off to work, I got the littlest out of bed and went downstairs to check on the cats, when I came back I found them both, fast asleep again!
And that's it, January done! I'm really enjoying doing this! :)

Day 30 - Our favourite book
It was a momentous night in our house. The biggest got his collection of Julia Donaldson books down and suggested it might be time for the littlest to have these.. it almost broke me heart, but at the same time it was lovely seeing her face when she started to go through them, she was so excited! So just before bed, we all sat down and watched our favourite.. The Gruffalo :)

Day 29 - There's no place like home!
Not the most practical shoes to wear to the park this morning, but there was no way she wasn't going to wear them!

Day 25 - You're in my spot
George (the cat) has a spot on the sofa, and when someone's in it, blimey do you know about it! Here is one moody cat, trying not to show that he is totally sulking!

Day 24 - Poorly
Today has just been one of those days. The littlest has been really poorly, and has cried and wanted to be held all day. I took this during one of the five minute breaks where she fell asleep on the sofa. Fingers crossed she feels better in the morning.

Day 22 - Cars
The littlest is totally besotted with Cars the movie at the moment, everything about it, especially her big brothers toys. This was them this afternoon going through the cars box and he was telling her the names of each one - lovely :)

Day 20 - Music class
History repeating with this shot, as my Dad used to do the same thing for me and my sister! A very quick photo opportunity when the children were thoroughly enjoying Daddy playing a little music before dinner.

Day 19 - Soaring
Is it a bird? is it a plane? No, its a game that was destined to end in tears, but thankfully I caught them before it did! :)

Day 18 - Just like Mummy!
This was one of those moments that I was so happy my camera was near by! I caught the littlest 'just checking' her temperature, making sure everything is ok! She is so like Mummy!!

Day 17 - One last cuddle
After a comedy evening of poop, poop and more poop (and no wine I might add!) there was just enough time for one last cuddle before bed!

Day 16 - Cheeky
I had a plan for todays photo. My friend saw the littlest on the way to school wearing some comedy glasses that she got in her stocking, 'she simply has to be the photo of the day!'. However, I should have known that the moment she said that I was never going to get one! So, reliable as always, her big brother stepped up, and looked fantastic!!

Day 15 - Frosty
Ok, so I know it's supposed to be one photo but its my blog and I'll put two if I want to! No game for us today, it was frozen solid, and -3 when we left the house complete with several pairs of socks and leg warmers and a hot water! The boys still managed to find a stick and some stones to play with and keep themselves amused for 30 minutes though - typical!!

Day 14 - Broken
A frosty start on some of the glass lanterns that just about survived the fall, but lie broken on my table...
oh, and a frog that was hanging in the lilac playing peek-a-boo!!

Day 13 - Friday 13th, unlucky for some
I would honestly say I'm not overly superstitious, yes I occasionally salute the odd magpie (ok I'm lying, every single one I see!) but Friday 13th has never really bothered me before.. until today! It started with the littlest emptying an entire box of Special K red berries, all over the kitchen floor! Then I made Mr.N get up at 8.30am as the fence people were coming, and they came, only at 9.25! Mr.N was not a happy bunny! Then as Mr.N went off to the gym, I popped round next door with the fence man and pulled the door to behind me, leaving the littlest locked inside, it was hands down the worst three minutes of my life and she hadn't even noticed I'd gone! Following that, I dropped my phone and it broke in to a million pieces, and then tripped up hurting my foot! So over all its been a really good day! Thankfully I did have a nice half an hour shopping for new trainers with the littlest and biggest. She managed to single handedly demolish a football boot display and whilst I was running around trying to put boxes back on top of each other, and the right boots back in the right boxes, I caught the biggest, dreaming of owning a pair of F50 boots! He has been talking about these for months after seeing them in a magazine, and after a really crappy day, I couldn't help but smile :)

Day 12 - Fast food!
Not the best technical photo I know, but this was the littlest this evening, speed eating her yoghurt so she could get back to playing with Lightning McQueen and Mater! She absolutely loves them at the moment!

Day 11 - yo yo yo!
The award for the worlds most least likely rapper goes to...
My biggest!! He's still cute though! They were having a 'battle' during dinner and this was his finishing move!

Day 10 - Wakey wakey
I know its only ten days in, but this might be my favourite photo! After kindly agreeing to wake up this afternoon so that we could go and collect the biggest from school, the littlest stood in her bed to look at the nee-naws going past her window and gave me the biggest grin, lovely!

Day 9 - busy busy busy
Today has been manic! Music class, Fun world soft play, lunch time, shopping with Daddy, school run, you get the picture. We managed to find a bit of time though for a few of littlest's favourite things, the swings and a lollipop! Lovely!

Day 8 - Off to a winning start!
I was quite nervous about today's game. They hadn't played together as a team for nearly a month, and the last time we had played the opposition team we were beaten, quite substantially! So I was nervous. I needn't have been though. They played brilliantly, and despite the biggest being quite tired, he put in 100%, I was so very proud of him. I took some photos of the game as J wasn't there, and we've just had a quick look at them now. Its amazing how much he looks and acts just like his Dad whilst he's on the pitch, and this photo just sums it up!

Day 7 - a helping hand
Its been a manic day today, literally none stop! In-law visit, buffet lunch, swimming, Skylanders and tidying, to name a few thing!. And in the middle of the chaos I had a little helper who totally loves filling the dishwasher, over and over again and with her feeling so tired and poorly, I was just pleased she was smiling to herself!

Day 6 - Goodbye old friend
It was a sad day for me today. I behaved a lot like Phoebe from Friends in the episode with the Christmas tree's (Friends fans will know the one!) standing with a look of horror as my beautiful tree was placed branch by branch in to the chipper - its amazing that something with such a lovely sounding name can be so horrible! It may have been around 85 years old, but for us, for the past three years, its been a climbing frame, a goal post, a swing, a hiding place, a home for hundreds of birds and squirrels and simply a fantastic addition to our family garden. Goodbye old friend, I know a little boy who will miss you lots.

Day 5 - bath time
After another day of watching giant trees fall in to my garden, and the news that both littlest and biggest are poorly and the storm continuing, threatening to take the roof off at any minute! This evenings half an hour bath was a time for forgetting about all that and having giggles, splashes and laughs! A very welcome relief!

Day 4 - a very happy cat
With the biggest back at school, Mr.N back at work and the littlest sleeping most of the day, George my wonderful cat is happy to have the house almost back to himself! Everyone that knows me knows of my lovely George, and the fact that he is larger than your average Jack Russell, but he's wonderful, noisy, smelly, loving and annoying, and life would be pretty dull without him!
Day 3 - The day the tree fell..
What a day! I certainly wasn't expecting this to happen when I got up this morning. Thankfully the family badminton match had been the day before and no one was hurt and the house is still standing - phew!
Day 2 - sales shopping!
Just as we were about to leave for Merry Hill, the biggest kissed the littlest and the littlest thought it was hilarious! Naturally I made them do it again!
